The Miami Dolphins are on fire, coming off four consecutive wins and they’ll be looking to make it five on the bounce when they visit the Los Angeles Rams at L. A. Memorial Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. The Rams halted a four-game skid by defeating the Jets 9-6 last week, but scoring remains a huge concern.
NFL Week 11 Teaser (7-points) – Dolphins +6 & Under 46.5
The Dolphins have scored at least 27 points in four straight outings, but they’re still averaging only 18.0 points per game on the road. Ryan Tannehill is doing a decent enough job under center without shining while second year running back Jay Ajayi has two 200-yard games and another game of more than 100 yards over the last five contests. The Dolphins will face a Rams defense that has allowed only 15.3 points per game over its three at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this season.
Miami won 31-24 against San Diego last week and under is 9-4 in the Dolphins last 13 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game.
The Rams are scoring a NFL-worst 15.4 points per game (12.7 ppg at home) while being ranked 31st for total offense (308.0 yards) and 25th for passing offense (225.4). Jared Goff will replace veteran Case Keenum at the QB position for this game, but Miami is allowing only 22.9 points and 364.3 yards per game, so this will be far from an easy debut for Goff.
The Rams are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games overall. They recorded a 9-6 victory over the Jets on Sunday and the under is 8-1 in Rams last nine games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game.
Miami has a clear advantage on the offensive side of the ball, but points never come easy against LA. Go with Dolphins +6 and under 46.5 in what should be a close and low-scoring affair.
